Reliance Oil purchases Wayne Oil’s Ballpark stores & Fuel Division
Southeastern is honored to announce the Acquisition of Wayne Oil’s Ballpark stores and wholesale fuel division

Wayne Oil, based in Goldsboro, North Carolina, is owned by John Strickland. The company was known for the Ballpark stores located across central North Carolina, stretching from Oxford to Goldsboro. Wayne Oil also supplied fuel to many independent gas station owners in this region in addition to their own stores. Wayne Oil will continue their transportation business after the transaction.
Reliance Oil owns 50 gas stations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida. They’ve added an additional 12 stores to their portfolio through this acquisition. Reliance Oil is a fast-growing company that has made customer service a hallmark of their reputation. They’re excited about the opportunities that North Carolina presents and look forward to building strong relationships in the future.
